Nominated (again)

So I found out recently they nominated my blog as “Best Humor Blog” at the Brass Crescent Awards.
At first I was thrilled. Then, I wasn’t so thrilled when I found out that I can NOT vote for myself more than once. I mean, what is the point of democracy if my vote means the same as any one else’s?
I then debated getting some Diebold machines like they use in Florida elections, but apparently your last name has to be Bush. And the Iranian election officials are currently on holiday, so they are out too.
So, er, I have to turn to you, my readers, to give me an ego boost. I mean, last time, I was nominated too, but I lost to a guy who updated his blog twice in two years. First, to say he was nominated, and second, to say he won. I think that dude is working for the Afghan election agency now.
So I am guessing at least this year I won’t lose to a dead blog. After all, they have a separate category for dead blogs, believe it or not!
So, with just TWO days remaining until polls are open, do go here and vote for me! If I win, I will post a funny post about “Readers of this blog”. Promise. Sort of.

I think you’ve done an amazing job with this blog. Don’t read a lot of blogs (actually one other than this ) but I’ve been a frequent ’silent’ visitor to yours and thought I’d just let you know.
